With the help of volunteers and donations from the community, we hope to eradicate the shortage of transportation for those with disabilities. Please join us in our mission to give independence back to those who face challenges every day.

Who We Are

Restore Mobility for the Blind is a 501c3 non-profit charity that provides high quality transportation for residents of York County, South Carolina that are blind, visually impaired, adults with Disabilities, veterans, and senior citizens who are over 50 years old.

What We Do

We provide arm through arm, door through door transportation to just about anywhere. This includes going to doctor visits, visiting friends and family, shopping, attending religious services and errands. Our number one goal is to help people with disabilities live a productive life.

Why We Do It

Most of us will outlive our ability to drive by 7 to 10 years? The lack of accessible transportation is one of the most significant barriers to employment for persons with disabilities. Transportation is ranked as one of the highest unmet needs of the Blind, Visually Impaired, and Disabled Seniors in York County.

“Restore Mobility has put people back into the equation.  It’s a very necessary entity for a rural community.  They are the best.”

Andrew B.

“Without their kindness, I would have been hesitant to accept their offer of transportation…they make me feel confident that wherever I go, they are there with me…I thank God for sending them into my life.”

Jeri T.

“Restore Mobility got me to where I needed to get to.  They go above and beyond.  I could not have made it without Mr. Mike and Cynthia.  It is a great service.”
